About
Marianne Nord (1969) is a fine art photographer residing in Bekkestua, Norway. Her project Tranquility marked the end of her career in healthcare and a turn towards photography.
Over the past six years she has gone to Bilder Nordic School of Photography, been part of numerous photography workshops and mentor groups, and learned from photographers such as Steve McCurry, Ami Vitale, Morten Krogvold and Hans-Olav Forsang.
She exhibited her work Tranquility at Fotografiens Hus in Oslo, Norway, and received acclaim from, among others, the country's most prestigious newspaper, Aftenposten. She has been working on a project about anxiety for the last 3 years ending in a group exhibition in Oslo this summer.
